Equity markets comprise of the ecosystem and processes through which, investors buy and sell shares of publicly traded companies and where both listed and unlisted companies raise capital from public or selected shareholders. Equity Shares, or commonly called "shares" or "stocks", represent a portion of ownership in a company.
